We put on a series of tasting seminars in July 2011 in Los Angeles and San Francisco focusing on wines from Volcanic growing areas in Italy. Ciro Biondi from Etna and Cecilia Piccin from Basilicata joined us for the week. We are convinced that Southern Italy is a partner with the better-known North in sheer wine quality, and we believe we demonstrated that quality, along with the particularly distinctive aromas and flavors that come from volcanic soils.  The following video clips were put together by a local San Francisco production company specializing in the wine, food, and farming industries called ‘Farm + Cellar’.
